The Cyclops TAM (Theft Avoidance Module) replaces one of the relays in your vehicle and can be activated or deactivated with the supplied remote. When it’s switched off, the car won’t start unless the original relay is physically swapped back in or you reactivate the module with your remote. This is a good, relatively budget friendly immobilizer option. It will however, potentially be easier for a thief to find than products which are deeply wired into the electrical system in the unlikely event that they decide to spend the time tracing down the issue. You will also need to remember to press the remote for your Cyclops TAM in addition to locking/unlocking your vehicle.
